This Sunday (9th June) saw the NBC mixed triples tournament held at Mizzymead Recreation Centre. This was a new event tried for the first time this year and drew a good entry from all Nailsea Bowls Club members. 10 teams made up of two men and 1 lady fought it out in a round robin format with each team playing 3 games of 8 ends. It was a close run thing with the top two teams qualifying to play off in a full 18 ends to be played as part of this years finals weekend on 1st and 2nd September.
