The team of Janet Hobson, Duncan Edler, and Brian Powell travelled to Ashcombe to play in the second round of the County Mixed Triples Competiton. A fine evening of bowls ensued with the Nailsea folks putting in a strong performance. The 28-7 win came after 14 ends of the 18 scheduled.
